Today Ive realised the enormity of my vote and its been weighing on my mind. Today is a monumentus day in Scotlands history . It will go down in the History books. It is so important for it affects tens of millions of lives both now and in the future. Ive given it a lot of thought and Ive decided, with as much certainty as I can muster, I will be voting NO. I will be voting NO to a political and financial structure that looks out for itself and keeps those who need real help ostrachised. I am voting YES to a building a fairer society for all. I am voting YES to see Scotlands people take their own future Im sure a lot of people wish this referendum had never happened, they feel its divisive or threatening. I dont think that. Theres a lack of meaning in our culture that means apathy, not having an opinion about important issues and not acting on those opinions is now the accepted norm. This referendum has changed things. The politicisation of people in Scotland during this referendum has been fantastic.
