Today Jessica and I spent the day in the city of Rennes. Rennes is a sister city of Rochester. It wads beautiful old city from the Bretagne region. Jess did her college study abroad here. I can see why she loved it! We had lunch at a small restaurant on an old street. I had melon gazpacho, roast turkey with carrots in a chive cream sauce followed by a "floating island." This is a merrangue dessert covered with a cream sauce, a Carmel sauce and topped with pralines. Simply delicious!
