Today, Nigeria as a Nation celebrates her 54th Birthday since Independence from Her Colonial Masters (British) dating back to 1960 & 1963 respectively. Before anything, Ill love to tell every1 a little about the Country, Nigeria. *Welcome 2 Nigeria- A Nation where a blind begger will knowingly reject a fake naira note for the hope of a better one. *Where ladies dont accept flowers for birthday or valentine gifts/presents. *Where parents claim they always come first (1ST) positions in school. *Where the presidents & other government officials dont know the National anthem/ the National Pledge off-heart. *Where Gala (BIGI, MEATY, SUPER BITE etc) & La Casera is the best option when stuck up in hold ups. *Where you can be a Professional Driver for years without a valid National Drivers licence. *Where you are robbed of your phone & the robbers comes back after some days or maybe weeks for pincodes, security codes, & the chargers. *Where politicians use big unnecessary grammers to scam people; especially the less priviledged in the society all for the hope of voting for them. *Where you are jailed for ever attempting stealing maggi, & given chieftancy title for stealing millions/ billions along with a front row seat in the church/churches. *Where the type of your generator shows how rich you are. *Where you can blame your unsuccessful Life on your parents/family members in the village. *Where citizens are more afraid of the police than armed robbers. *Where girls are afraid of loosing their phones, rather than loosing their Virginity. *Where a driver/ cyclist gets to a traffic post, & drive past without obeying the light commands. *Where How Far & I Hail oo my guy are the official languages for both the young/ old. *Where a young talented man/guy will tear off his First School Leaving Certificate, JSCE statement of result, & SSCE Certificate to smoke IGBO (Marijuana) if there is no money for Rizla paper. *Where crimes/ killings are the other of the day. *Where parents accompany their children to school with guns/cutlasses for the fear of kidnapping. *Where the Presidential Candidate of the Country is expected to come from only two (2) geo-political zones- Hausa or Yoruba. *Where fuel scarcity has been a major problem never to combat. *Where selling of body/human parts has been a major form of business (kidney). *Where Soldiers flee from criminals/ killers for the fear of been dead. *Where top federal government officials have no JSCE/SSCE results. *Where the choice of your Religion equals your own life. *Where the lives of students @ schools are @ high risks (CHIBOK GALS). As we celebrate Nigeria @ 54, Lord pls save us from all of these calamities & more IJN... Amen........... ...
