Today Nov.10th 2013, the credibility of shell is re-evaluated world wide. But what baffles me is that UNEP Report is laying wast some where in Aso Rock and the sitting president of Nigeria is an Environmentalist, a Niger Deltan and a supposed academics (winks). I have gone through records and can proof that shell has no respect for Nigeria and her laws. Infact Shell has assume a nucleus caucus inside Nigerian government. 4.9 million barrels of crude was in the gulf of mexico in April 2010. Shell was dragged before USA congress. Without blicking eyes, they pleaded guilty to 11 counts of man slaughter, misdemeanors, fellony count of lying to US Congress and took full responsibility of the spill. As at february 2013, shell has spent $42.2bn US Dollars in compensation. 13 million barrels of crude was spilt in Ogoniland, shell has shown no concern. NOSDRA ( National Oil Spill Detection Response Agency) indicted shell, and slam them with $1bn US Dollars fine. Shell laughed the respected Agency to scum, replying them that, there is no such law in Nigeria to compel them to pay such an amount. Gas flaring is history in Britain, America etc. But in Nigeria, gas flaring has come to stay because Nigerian Leader are myopic, naive, corrupt, educated illiterates and inferior to shake shell...
