Today Steven and I went to the mall to get me some books. Going through the doors I see a man with his adorable pooch and me being me I had to pet her....the man was clearly homeless and he was sitting between the entry way for a place to stay warm. He asked us if we could buy him a hot coffee and a meal....me being me I had to do so. Anywho he couldnt come into the mall to get his food and coffee so we went through the mall to get it for him. Then Steven tells me he seen this same homeless man at Wal-Mart the other day asking people if they could buy his dog a sweater from the childrens section so she could stay warm. It literally brought tears to my eyes. I didnt have much on me but I skipped out on my books and we got the man and his dog some food and a hot drink. I wish I had remembered the bag of dog food in the trunk so I could have gave him it :( maybe Ill cross his path again and will be able to offer more. Made me realize how good some people have it and take it for granted including myself. I cant seem to shake the feeling that we should have done more :(
