Today Sunday June the 8th MORNING BIBLE STUDY @ 9 : 30 AM MORNING WORSHIP @ 10 : 30 AM I hope you all are able to join us this Sunday, June 8 for our church youth rally! One change from my previous e-mail is that we will supply the hotdogs, buns and fixins and marshmallows for the evening campfire, along with a few chips. Please feel free to bring a bag of chips or other food to share. We will have a drink cooler for water, lemonade and Kool-Aid. Also, please plan to bring potluck food for lunch. I am planning to bring plates and eating utensils from church, so those will be provided. Bring camping chairs and fishing gear if you want to fish. Here is our agenda: 1 p.m. - Lunch. (This should give everyone time to change clothes if they want, run to the store, drive time, time to set up food, etc.) 1:30 to 3 p.m. - Lunch cleanup, Free time for fishing, games, Wiffle Ball, etc. 3 p.m. - Bible Study Breakouts. Girls 6 and up and boys 6 and up will be separated for a lesson on finding God in nature (how everything we have, see, do ... comes from God. Is. 42:5-6, Rom.1:20, Col. 1:16, Neh. 9:6, etc.) We may have two groups of boys and girls depending on how many kids we have. Preschoolers will have their own version of this lesson with a short nature walk and some fun things. 3:45 - Snack 4 p.m. - Activity followed by free time. 5 p.m. - Group Discussion over Lessons 5:30 - Hot dogs and food 6:30 - Devo and camp songs around fire.
