Today, Supervising Deputy District Attorney Phil Esbenshade, Supervisor of the Crimes Against Children Division, spoke to members of the Visalia Host Lions Club about the District Attorneys Kids Court program. Lions Clubs meet the needs of local communities and the world, with 1.35 million members who perform community service in 209 countries and geographic areas. Kids Court is organized and operated by the Office of the Tulare County District Attorney to assist children through the judicial process by familiarizing them with the court environment, personnel and process.
