Today a Mother lost her very young and beautiful little boy to sickle cell. She is a Mother in a sickle cell Warrior group that I participate in. Although Ive never met her...as I look at her loving pictures of her Angel...my Heart breaks for her I know the struggle it takes to keep a child safe and alive...especially one with Sickle Cell...this is a treacherous disease. I know the sacrifice and the loss a parent freely gives just to see another smile on your babies face. My heart is crying for her today. Im blessed to have my daughter not only survive but to bring forth precious life to this world in her 26 years... The struggle is real. The moments are to cherish.
