Today a precious Saint left this World. If you ever read a little book I wrote years ago, Second Row Piano Side - I mentioned a sweet lady named Aunt Doris. Doris Ferguson was my kindergarten Sunday School teacher. Almost every single Saturday I spent the night with her... She was my first remembrance of the tender family of God. Most all my life we kept in touch! She was a prayer warrior, seriously. When she said she would pray she would get on her knees and take the matter to Jesus... Oh the beautiful memories I have of sleepovers, memorizing scripture for candy.. And standing in a chair while she cooked dinner. She crossed into Heaven this morning and I truly believe she looked my mother up today and said, Oh, my little Chonda Ruth! Isnt she something, Virginia!
