Today after 8 years of agony I finally have an answer for what has been causing my constant backache and pains. I recently had an MRI scan which has shown I have wear and tear to my lower spine where my bone has worn away slightly and also have 3 prolapsed discs which will never be fully back in place again but its not bad enough for surgery yet. So the doctors have now upped my dosage of painkillers to the maximum I can take as well as having the highest dose of anti inflammatories I can have. This is to see how I cope with the pains and if I am still getting the pains within the next month I will be referred to a chiropractor who can then refer me to the trauma unit where I can get painkillers injected directley into my spine as physiotherapy doesnt help me. Xxxx
