Today as I was getting off work and walking from the hospital to the parking garage (which is quite a lengthy walk), I heard something/someone come up behind me quickly. Soon after, a veteran in a motorized wheelchair with a big American flag attached to the back end look up at me and says thank you for being so beautiful. I looked at him in confusion and said excuse me? He then repeated himself followed by the sight of you just made my heart melt. Of course I smiled and said thank you. He proceeded to ride in his wheelchair all the way down to the garage making small talk and how it was going to be a lonely Christmas because his son got killed while in training in the military two years ago but the sight of me made his holiday season brighter. He gave me a good laugh though because the last thing he said before I reached my car was Im sorry youre married because its a shame a pretty girl like you cant give men a chance. I may be a 60 year old and crippled man but I would pursue the chance. Lol happy holidays, folks:)
