Today, as Izzy and her friends (7th graders), were walking home - TopicsExpress

Today, as Izzy and her friends (7th graders), were walking home from school (Irving) they were approached by the Idaho Lorax, aka Sierra Carta, he tried to start a conversation with them about health and education and was handing out slips of paper. Izzy politely said no thank you and kept walking. When she got home she wrote down what happened, what he looked like, what he was wearing and what he said. She told Levi about it as soon as he got home from work. Obviously it made Izzy nervous or she wouldnt have said anything. Levi then contacted the principal and the police. The police said he didnt do anything illegal but they were going to contact him and tell him not to do it again. They are also increasing their patrols in our neighborhood after school. If you dont know who he is, look up the mayoral debate from last week, he is running for mayor. If you do know who he is, you know why Im posting this. I wanted to let other parents know so they can warn their kids. He is an older gentleman, 5 3, smaller build, long gray hair and beard, usually has a baseball cap on. He rides a bicycle around town, and is usually found wherever there is a crowd, handing out his papers. Please pass this on. kpvi/content/news/regional/story/League-of-Women-Voters-of-Pocatello-Mayoral/NaHkliQpvkqEqCA3Ws56Iw.cspx He is the one in the hard hat.
