Today at 4:46 PM Michael Rose 39, passed away on November 4th 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer , surrounded by his loving family. Born in Boston, Michael grew up in Hyannis and was a 1992 graduate of Barnstable High School where he excelled in baseball and football. he was predeceased by his father Robert Rose in 1992 and his brother Scott Rose in 2013. He is survived by his mother Christine Rose O’Keefe and her husband William O’Keefe of Weymouth. His brothers Mark Rose of Fayetteville, NC and Steve Rose of West Barnstable and two loving nieces. He is also survived by his grandmother Marilyn Ferrara of Boston and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. His funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at 10:00 am in Our Lady of Victory Church, 230 South Main Street, Centerville, MA 02632 Visitation will be held on Monday, November 11, 2013 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Doane, Beal & Ames Funeral Home, 160 West Main Street, Hyannis, MA 02601 In lieu of flowers donations in memory may be made to the Michael Rose memorial fund ℅ citizens bank 417 Barnstable rd Hyannis, Ma 02601.
