Today, august 8th, is my 19th birthday. We can say so. It is a huge day for me, not because Im a bit older, or because Im a bit more of a man, or anything like that. It is a huge day for me because it is my first birthday as a graceful servant of Christ Jesus. All the past years of my life Ive counted as loss to gain Jesus this almost-a-year, for it is not until the 23rd for my spiritual birthday (which I count as my official birthday). I remember this day last year, it has been a journey. I am thankful with God for doing what He has done and is doing in my life. So today makes it 19 almost 1 for me. Ive been on this earth for 19 years, but I have lived just almost one. For I started living when He whispered life into my soul and pulled me out of death by His irresistible grace and mercy. I pray and ask of all who are willing to do so, that this next year I can do that the Lord wants me to do, that I can be wise on my desicion-making, not thinking for myself, but for the Kingdom of God.
