Today has been very strange. My niece had a beautiful baby boy in Colorado about the same time as my stepfather, Jack Berry passed away here in San Antonio. I inherited his dogs three years ago when Jack had a stroke and ended up in a nursing home. Most Sundays we would take the dogs to see him. This gave me the opportunity to spend more time with him. My mother died in 1996 and over the years we spent less time with him until the stroke. He has been saying he is ready to go for a long time but especially the last few weeks. My daughter, Liana thought of a great image, Mom sending her great grandson to earth and then welcoming her husband to the next world.
