Today i am confused should i thank my Gurus, or should i thank my students. My Gurus were source of knowledge/guidance but my students where the reason/motivation for the same. Many of you would be greeting and wishing to your Teachers/Gurus but not just today round year at anytime or moment when you felt real thankfulness/gratefulness for your Guru was the real Guru Purnima, today its just a formal gesture. But at any moment you generated any bad feelings for him/her then first be sorry then thankful. Real Guru is master of forgiveness, he never tries to take control over you, he would never possess you, he does not require approval, he does not magnify your ego and he does not give you limitations. You can blame him, get angry on him, curse him, oppose his ideas and talks but still it wont make difference to him because he is aware that all that is part of ignorance and lack of true knowledge in you. You can forget him, you can stop meeting him, when your needs are over from him you will find another, you can get free from your student/disciple role any moment, but his role of helping, guiding, sharing, blessing, praying never never never never never ends...... Being a GURU is lifelong responsibility... Happy Guru Purnima.
