Today in joint conferences in Washington and here, we announced a new Dept of Justice initiative promising streamlined access to federal resources against violence--the Violence Prevention Network. Last August I joined other Mayors in meeting with President Obama to talk about what we could do to reduce Guns and Violence in our cities.
