Today is Autism Awareness Day Those who see Autism as a curse and something to be seen as ugly, is blind. In my eyes, people who have Autism consist of a hidden, misconcepted beauty. A spark of hope and a gift to humanity. The trials they face and conquer are that which we cannot even try to place ourselves in. The patience, perseverance and effort that many parents and family members go through, not to cure, but to embrace their family member with autism and to give them hope every step of the way is truly outstanding. I really hope the negative and unjust stigma, behaviour and attitude towards Autism and those who have Autism within society reduces.
