Today is Carters first day of Pre-K 3. He is going to a class of 8 with 2 teachers. I am so very excited for him because he loves to learn. He already knows so much that I look forward to him doing things that are developmentally appropriate that will require him to think rather than memorize. He needs to find a buddy there that is a tad rougher than he is so he can learn not to annoy our Hazel. Please join me in praying for him; its a huge step in his life and ours as well. Lord, I lay my heart and soul at YOUR feet asking YOU to watch over our baby... yes, he is three but YOU know he is a baby still. YOU have a plan for him; I know this is part of the plan. I ask that YOU watch over him, guide him, PROTECT him, and direct his teachers to meet his needs physically, socially, emotionally and academically. I praise YOUR NAME for all of our good things in life and yes, CARTER, is right at the top of that list. I ask that YOU be with RaeLynn Turner McNeil as she leaves him at a strange place for the first time; wipe her tears with YOUR reassurance of goodness in life and family. Be with his dad Kyle McNeil as he thinks and prays about all of the wonderful things that happen within in little family; protect him as he travels. Comfort the grandparents as we worry and anticipate the wonderful news of Carter having another great day! I ask these things in Jesus Holy Name. Amen! and now I am crying, too.. Sheesssshhhh!
