Today, is Frances National Day, the ever glorious 14th July , - TopicsExpress

Today, is Frances National Day, the ever glorious 14th July , which is quite a controversial celebration, at least as far I am concerned. It is stated however that the 14th July 1790 is the historical celebration the French celebrate as La Fete de la Federation as opposed to the Storming of the Bastille of 14th July 1789, where Monsieur Le Marquis Bernard-René de Launay was brutally murdered in a most inhumane manner when he was stabbed repeatedly and then his head was sawn off and fixed on a pike to be carried through the streets of Paris: this in itself doesnt leave much to be desired as a form of commemoration ! Furthermore, this year 2014, marked the 221st year since the death of His Majesty King Louis XVI of France who was outrageously murdered by the revolutionaries who went too far ! As I had then stated back in January this year, Royal France was heading towards a proper Constitutional Monarchy, such as that of the United Kingdom. Instead, I reiterate that France had to be the victim of the Terror and its leaders such as Robespierre. Well, all I can say again is that I hope that the French are now proud of their accomplishment by having abolished their Monarchy. I say this very sarcastically of course, and state, VIVE LE ROI FOREVER ! May the Bourbons return to their rightful throne and remove that so-called Republic ! VIVE la Monarchie Messieurs, et vivie le Roi !
