Today is International Youth Day we would like to use it to highlight the young people making a difference to our transport network. Along with our supply chain, we are creating apprenticeship and graduate roles to encourage more and more young people into employment. We are also one of the sponsors of the Royal Greenwich University Technical College as part of our support for future transport workers. Over the past few weeks, 23 of their Year 12 students have been on work experience placements within London Underground. During their placements, they have worked on different projects and visited work sites including the redevelopment of Tottenham Court Road, station works at Embankment and The Tunnelling and Underground Construction Academy in Illford.
