Today is Moondark..the new Moon happens just before midnight here in UK (23:42hrs BST) in Leo. Mars is newly arrived in Scorpio and jarring with that Moon. People may be trying to prove themselves.. which is just fine if youre a CWGames 2014 competitor but there is a stubborn energy here that can cause standoffs. Its a new Moon in the sign of the heart, though, and people can apply that stubborn energy to making things work better...although its good to take a step back and think about anything that needs fixing rather than taking a sledgehammer to it..theres a tricky ongoing aspect between Saturn and Uranus, which in mythology reflects father/son struggles..on many levels ..primitive fears of old being supplanted by the new. Its a quirky aspect though and suggests wanting to make new moves but being held back by a) pride b) resources or c) fear of change. This Moon-dark day is traditionally a time to go quietly about sorting and tidying and making ready for a new chapter, preparing for something fresh, for a new effort, perhaps, and its a good time to set the sledgehammer aside along with stubborn pride or, as can happen with Scorpio Mars..secret, darker feelings of envy ..and to permit yourself to step right back to try to analyse a situation thats stirring unease right now. Write down the problem(s) in black and white. Then list possible routes and solutions till you see that pathway. Scorpio Mars is wonderfully resourceful at best, bearing a real nothing is impossible mantra, and that upcoming Leo new Moon is all about new babies..new projects and about shining in a new light. This week could be a special time for families to strengthen bonds, too, perhaps through deeper understanding that when all is said and done, love is all thats real. X
