Today is World Aids Day, a day which is represented by the wearing of a Red Ribbon. It is both a day for raising awareness which will hopefully diminish the HIV infection rates and to raise money for the many charities who are involved in helping those with HIV or AIDS. I hope that you all give some personal help here. Well done to all the venues who raised money for any HIV/AIDS charity this weekend, especially for those who went all the way by holding a traditional Red Party. Shame on any venue who tried to cash on this emotive issue by holding a Red Party without raising any charity money for HIV/AIDS and, in some cases, didnt realise why a Red Party was invented and what it was designed to achieve; I can think of one such place!
