Today is World Elephant Day. A very interesting day in Nairobi at Inspector General David Kimaiyos office. A representative from Wildlife Direct waited over 8 hours to present a letter with 400 signatures calling for the arrest of Feizal Mohamed, yet another kingpin in the ivory trade who has been allowed to escape prosecution. Kenya cant keep shooting only Kenyan nationals who poach, allowing those with the money, giving orders from afar to escape and still say it is indeed addressing the poaching problem.
