Today is a day that I have always been taught not only through my family but through a very special teacher of mine to have the most respect for those that have and are serving our GREAT Country. I almost wasnt going to go the Veterans Ceremony because I just had to much to do. But then as I thought more about it I had a heavy feeling in my heart that I needed to be there to show my support for the veterans and show my appreciation for all I have because of them. Bristol High School has had a fantastic Veterans Ceremony now for many years and a good part of that goes out to Mr. Hungerford. Well he was honored today at the Veterans ceremony and I was not expecting the amount of emotion that came over me during the ceremony in his honor. Some of you know but most will never know the special place I have in my heart for Mr. Hungerford, he was a great teacher and principal, he along with many others have made me who I am today. If you are a teacher, please know that what you do in your classroom and outside of your classroom is sinking in to your students and we do carry it out in our daily lives. It was an honor for me to watch my son along with Ben Sabat, Andrew Pleso and Connor Orr during the flag folding ceremony, they then turned and presented the flag to Mrs. Hungerford and their children.
