Today is a great day for Bonanza, the state of Oregon, the USA, and the world! 58 years ago, a young lady gave birth to a son. She had no idea of what her son would become, who he would influence and impact, and the life he would carve out for himself. Ozzie vs. Elton, Judas Priest vs. The Eagles, the one-on-ones at the Barn! You cant ever replace those times! You have been my best friend since 1974, will be my best friend into the next world. I envy your drive, your ethic, and your resiliency daily! We may go years without conversation, but we can pick up like it was only yesterday. Happy Birthday Gerrit Swearingen!
