Today is a great day to celebrate! Exactly one year ago my dad was diagnosed with cancer. The doctor didnt give him much more than a few months, and although its been a rough year, he is alive and doing pretty darn well one year later. I have celebrated the anniversary of my leukemia diagnosis every year since I found out on March 3, 2000, too. Lots of people find it weird that we celebrate every year but the way I see it is that when you are diagnosed with advanced cancer, each year that God sees fit to let you live is worth celebrating. Happy anniversary Dad! Love you so much!! 😍
