Today is a miracle. I celebrate 29 years clean and sober. I found this photo from my 1st week of sobriety as that 29 year old woman. Jonny took the other photo this morn, 29 years later. My, my, my, life is an amazing ride... I see cautious hope in the eyes of my 29 year old self after a painful struggle with addiction. I see acceptance and love in my eyes now. I am grateful for such loving support especially from my daughters, my husband, sponsors, spiritual teachers, and foremost my Higher Power for this 2nd chance at life!
