Today is a pretty big day. Although he technically has about a month left of treatment, today we are celebrating a few lasts. Last week he had his last intravenous chemo and he just finished his last lumbar puncture. Therefore they removed the port (a subcutaneous access point to his heart) he has had for almost 3 years during surgery today. As usual, he did great and is glad to never need his tubey again. One more month of the oral meds he has been on for years and we will be done! Praise the Lord!
