Today is another Election Day. I am voting today and praying the right candidates are elected. However the change we need as a country isnt going to happen on a ballot box. We as a nation desperately need spiritual revival. We dont need Democrats or Republicans. We need the power of God to fall on His people and move them. We need white washed tombs to be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. We need The Church operating in unity, exercising the authority given to us to cast out strongholds of addiction, anxiety, fear, depression, and hopelessness over peoples lives. People have seen enough counterfeits. Many have never experienced the overwhelming peace of Gods love. I pray Christians would not settle anymore for our stale western religion, but would be moved by You oh God to live out kingdom lives. I pray that our hearts would be broken for the least, the lost, and the lonely. I pray that you would make us uncomfortable for our nation, our city, our neighbors, our coworkers, our friends and family. Fill our hearts Oh God with an indescribable love for those who dont know you, and bring a tidal wave of your unfailing grace over this nation. This is my prayer oh God, not a change of political parties, but a change in Your people. Forgive us God for not always living according to your calling. Turn us upside down and pour out Your Holy Spirit on us. I pray hardened hearts will break for You oh God. Thank you God for loving us no matter what. Thank you for sending Jesus to a lost and hopeless world. No more counterfeits God. No more divisons God. Only You Abba Father, consume our hearts!
