Today is bittersweet, but the start of new beginnings. It is my final day at FOX45 :(... I wouldve never imagined when I started here as an intern that Id be leaving (11 1/2 years later) for a full time television position.... I actually did imagine it, but I never thought it could happen lol. I have truly grown up in this building. These people here are more than coworkers... they are family. We spend so much time together, early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays! I will miss each person in this building that has given me advice and helped me through my career. But more importantly given me prayers and support through some serious tough times in my personal life. I am forever grateful... I will miss Baltimoreans too! I have gotten so much love and support from my hometown from the very beginning of my on-air duties. I read every message...and word of encouragement. I am honored by my teachers and family members who watch, record and support me with (you look fab and you are making your Mom proud texts)! I am floored by my friends from school whose kids watch me... I am just so humbled by the positive energy I have gotten from viewers and I wont forget how welcome I felt gracing your television screens. (Sometimes Baltimore can be a tough crowd lol so really, thanks for that:)) I could go on and on about how much Ive grown and learned from my internship days but its evident. Ive worn most every hat imaginable and have tried to take a little knowledge from each. I am proud of the people who called the newsroom for help whos lives I was able to personally touch! I wont ever forget the Champions of Courage who I helped to honor and interview each year... those are truly the gems of our community! I will NO DOUBT miss the assignment desk and the adrenaline rush that comes along with it! I thank the pios and media lines that put up with my constant questions over the years! I am sad to go...but I am excited and ready for a new journey. As I say See ya later to my hometown (My Momma taught me not to say goodbye :)) I want to thank you all for loving me for me.... the leopard print wearing, crazy nail polish sporting, gossip girl without a news voice, whos likely to have on sneakers under that camera shot! I love you! I will miss you! I bid you all adieu....until we meet again!
