Today is certainly a day for remembrance and reflection, but might i suggest a more personal approach: facebook is an amazing tool, but human contact is felt in the heart. Most people know of someone that has undergone a tragedy or loss - pick up the phone and call them or write them a personal note letting them know you are thinking about them. I am sure they would love to hear from you regardless of the amount of time that has passed. Just an idea.
