Today is known as Good Friday, the day Jesus was crucified. It may sound weird to say that Christians celebrate this weekend but keep in mind Jesus rose from the grave three days later, paying the penalty for our sin, defeating death, and making a way for us to be in fellowship with out Creator. This certainly is a celebration weekend for Christians and I want to take this opportunity to encourage you to consider the significance of the events that took place and read the Gospel of John chapters 18-20. If you have a home Church, please attend, not just this weekend but every weekend. If you dont have a home Church, you are certainly welcome to join me and my family at Victory - Hamilton Mill. We have four services this weekend the first one being 7 PM tonight.
