Today is my 40th Birthday. Wow! Thanks Almighty GOD for the good health, guidance and blessings. At 40th, I now confirm the sayings that, SUCCESS IS NOT MEASURED ON WHAT WE ACHIEVED, BUT THE OBSTACLE WE HAVE OVERCOME.” Year 2005, 10 years ago, was the most difficult and depressing moment of my life. The Philippine Government thru DOST and NEDA feedbacked that my invention - GATS Cycle and the Unified Renewable Engine with IPO Patent #1-2010-000258 cannot be funded to a full-size prototype and scholarship due to government fiscal crisis. It was then followed by the closure of all my businesses: The El Gato Bookworm Club, El Gatzky Billiardz and Marybon Educational Supply and Services due to invention’s self-financing drain and PICOP socio-economic effect. The worst part was the unprepared resignation at the the Univerisity of Southeastern Philippines (USEP-Bislig) due to whistle blowing of bureaucratic system. Being a frustrated inventor, struggling businessman, unsupported whistle blower and jobless engineer, I thought it was the end of lifes journey. However, in the twist in life… I would like to thank my saviour and mentor, Sir Joseph Altura for rebuilding my career and strength in 2006 and to the people who supported me until now …thanks to all of you... Thanks everyone for making my life valuable and meaningful! Towards a stronger El Gato comeback! To GOD be the Glory!!!
