Today is my father Steven E Soderbergs birthday. He may have thought Id forgotten but Ill never forget the face of my father. I could go ahead and say that my father has made me the man that I am today but that doesnt do it justice. Throughout the years hes just showed me overall how to be a good person in this world. When conflicts arise, he always hears out both sides, remaining neutral and open, and listens. Ive taken that to heart on how I look at basically everything in my life. Not only this, but hes incredibly supportive of my music. Hell ask questions and Ill have a blast answering them, Even more, I may have to blame him for my early love of Video Games, or at least a part of the deal. The least I could do was to whip up this here cover of one of the games I remember him playing with my Uncle Bub, Tecmo Bowl. I remember a few months ago him saying that I should cover this song, and i figured this would be a good day to bring it to life. What may be the best thing ever though is that through my love of Video Game music, he is now very interested in playing some games with us sons guiding him along the way. He has shown me The Dark Tower, now i get to show him Chrono Trigger. I couldnt have asked for a better guy to call my father, with love, thankee sai, long days and pleasant nights.
