Today is my last day of work in NTPC. That too after a grand period of thirty-two (32) years plus. Calling this a day of mixed feeling is really a super under-statement. The emotional roller-coaster through which I am going through, the queen’s language is not equipped enough to share. But the Trier I have been throughout my life, I will still try to express. It is a day of sadness for leaving lots of friends & colleagues yet a day of euphoria of breaking free. ; It is a day of calmness & poise befitting the departure of a mature (hopefully) person yet it is a day about the excitement regarding a new journey; it is a day of stock-taking about what I have done in my entire professional life, yet it is a day where a sense of “I don’t care today” prevails. I have lot of plans for my remaining active life. Even if I can embark on 50% of them, I will not have much time to ponder. I believe I have been a lazy workaholic, an oxymoron definitely but those who know me little closely might appreciate. So, I am keeping my fingers crossed about mu future plans. Hey FB friends! I am there. And will be there for you when you need me. Please be there when I need you. For friends in NTPC, which is my second mother, we are somewhat siblings by the above definition, in a way. We will remain the same I believe.
