Today is my last day of work then maternity leave starts for two months! Over 260 days of pregnancy with 2 weeks left till due date& Im ready. I woke up too early, belly bouncing then saw the sunrise& had unknown energy to cook& clean. I dont know the last time I got up from a seated or laying down position without groaning or cursing. Im still adjusting into myself/ we are constantly growing & adjusting together. Another dr appointment today& hopefully more good news& beauty to come. Change is hard, this is still a process but I learn it is so much better to accept& appreciate the changes than fight them. Heres to entering yet another stage& taking time off to celebrate& honor my body& needs to rest! Feel free to call, text, have chill play dates with me in Chicago in these next few days, etc. Im excited& am open to the changes/transformations ahead...
