Today is my second day at the Magic show! I blessed to know a good owner brand who has a booth near by me. Whenever people stop by at my booth, talked and took my cards or asked pieces designs/checked over...I havent talked that much but this owner man came over and was volunteering to talk for me, she graduated and recently started her new line...yeah unique stunning...and blah blah... This is not what I try to sharing on Facebook. Another story was so hilarious that I wanna sharing with my Facebook friends and especially with industry network people. I kept remember that story / words he spoke from our conversation...short it up from what he stated, your life and my life isnt same. I do for Live and You do for Passion & Earn Famous. It takes a lot of money, time, hard work, creative talent to be as a designer / a private brand designer. In order to success, a designer not just have money to invest but also talent skill and strong passion but mostly Lucky! If she/he has these will grow up too fast and things come right time to make them big and become well-known famously. Otherwise, no one recognized and mostly who I know that they gave it up and no patient or money to waiting for it happen. You are right Dawn, designer shouldnt copy but your own styles doesnt matter what...and I dont copy things, I only Borrow neck style, sleeves styles, collar styles, jacket or pant styles and so more from others brands and I bring them all put altogether and make in different fabric or change little ideas from my ideas. It means I didnt copy but my own ideas creative. And thats how All manufacturing / boutique retailer brands work. I dont copy I just borrow the styles from others and re-make them all! I cant stop laughing when he said, such a funny guy. Another lady who own a boutique at DelMar she came to Magic show not for buying stuff but checking new brands and if designers present and she said will take styles from there or somewhere in USA and bring them all to china or others Asian countries She change fabrics styles and do label brand from China and ship them all to USA for sale with low or expensive cost its depend each item and styles. She said mostly designers broke and close out business coz of that and not just her but many people do same her way for surviving and making for their business grown big. She advised me,the more you Go and the more you will see a lot of people do things like me or worst and theres nothing fairness to be in this life...especially in Business survival. Two questions are running around on my head tonight, whats business ethical mean to be? Whats talent or if the word of designer still exist in the fashion industry? Could anyone has confidently to answer this?
