Today is my sister Priscillas birthday. I know most of us are drawn to remembering 9/11 and well should but I would rather share my thoughts about her. For those of you who know her, you know she has suffered terribly with chronic lung disease, Lupus, pulmonary hypertension and recently this past year, dialysis. She has endured with dignity, compassion for others, and endurance. I believe most of us would have thrown in the towel but Priscilla has given us an example of just how important life is. She is an inspiration for all of us and when I start to whine and feel sorry for myself, I think of my beautiful sister, who I love so immensely, and get through my troubles. Priscilla, you are my hero! But above all you are my sister, my best friend, and example of strength. I love you so much and look forward to spending your day together! Enjoy your special day, Im glad to be able to spend it with you! Love!!!!
