Today is my son Matthews 8th birthday! I remember having to stoop down to brush his hair. Now, hes so tall, I dont have to bend at all. Eight years ago, he was just a beautiful baby and I was just a broken woman. God told me in a dream to name him Matthew, which means gift of God. I didnt understand why at the time. But looking back on old photos I havent seen in years, I realize why. Our whole lives as a family have changed because of my beautiful boy. He is the first and oldest grandchild, first nephew. Hes brought love out of us that we didnt know was there. Matthew Andre, I love you so much! You are a brilliant boy with a heart of gold. It is my deepest desire to see you grow up to be a godly young man. Im devoted to guiding you towards your purpose and destiny. You are dearly loved and treasured. Thank you Lord for 8 years of enjoying the gift of Matthew.
