Today is one of those days where it starts off wonderful, you know the feeling of being productive, then quickly turns hellish when your toddler decides that theres no way in hell shes gonna comply with anything you ask of her. Which basically just boils down to the fact that all I was asking of her was to blow her nose, not just pretend to blow it in the tissue while everyone sits around and waits. Because you know the world revolves around her, therefore we must all just wait right, because this is all just one big game and its so funny (hahaha) to not do what mommy asks. Ugh, I think I lost it today about a handful of times right after lunch, all over the fact that she just flat out refuses to blow her nose when she knows damn well how to do it. Had to suck it out with the bulb which gave me little satisfaction over the fact that she just didnt give a flying you know what. Pennie is one of those stubborn kids that, no matter the form of persuasion or punnishment, wont give into demands once shes made her mind up. I felt like a Drill Sergeant all day long yelling at her. Aowyn would have broken down and just done what I asked...nope, not Pennie. Threaten her with a spanking?
