Today is our 40th wedding anniversary. When we said our vows we naively thought we wouldnt ever experience any problems because we were so in-love. Haha. We have experienced all of it, better and worse, richer and poorer, and in sickness and health. But over the years, all those experiences, have made us stronger and has caused our hearts to beat as one. Our contract changed to a covenant - which is unbreakable. If I had to make this decision over again, I would say yes all over again with one exception. We would have invited God to be part of our marriage long before we did, which made all the difference. Its really hard to make a marriage work in this life. This might not be the typical FB msg of I married my best friend and life has been wonderful. I wanted it to be real. I love you Bill with every beat of my heart.
