Today is strange...My first Easter here in 16 years and my father not here...kinda sucks. My family and I are hanging in, what else can you do. Tomorrow is not promised..I thank you all for your warm, kind thoughts and prayers. My father always told us he wanted us to sit him up in a chair when he died so he could greet everyone instead of laying in a casket with people staring at him..lol. that was what everyone brought up yesterday. He also wanted a cigarette in his mouth. Unfortunately the funeral director informed us that was inappropriate:( oh well Pops we did try. Ironically enough my father fell asleep in his favorite chair sitting up. And he was greeted by his one and only favorite person, my daughter his granddaughter Mia Jevons. Inseparable till the very end. His BUDDY!!!! LIFE IS NOT ALWAYS EASY, BUT IT IS AMAZING!! Miss you George Albin Yodzio if only we could have had that one last Easter family football game.
