Today is such an emotional day for me :( a year ago I received the news that my gorgeous lil man had Leukaemia and middle zone pneumonia. It broke my heart and soul. I thought then I was going to lose him. He needed an oxygen mask, a blood transfusion, platelets transfusion, xrays, MRI scans, blood tests, and was connected to loads of different wires! It was a horrible sight :( since then he has undergone several intense chemo treatments, lost his hair twice, fought of chicken pox with started attacking his liver, many hospital visits, intense antibiotics, many blood tests, two operations, xrays, blood and platelets transfusions and many out cannulars! A year ago today, I didnt believe it wouldve been possible to have my baby home with me. I prepared myself for saying goodbye. But today, I can happily say hes at home, hes well! Hes hyper active!! After a year from hell for this strong little soldier, I can say I have my gorgeous 4 year old baby back! Hes gone from bedbound to walking. Hes gone from weak to strength! Hes done a full term in school! Hes achieved his first school production. Made many friends, and just been himself :) This year has been the worst year of our lives and without the support from family and friends we wouldnt of been able to deal with this as well as we have :) Thank you to everyone who has helped us through this difficult year! Even just a small message saying thinking of you has boosted our morals :) Have a merry Christmas guys!! From myself, my baby and my survivor!! Xxxx
