Today is the 8th anniversary of the WORST day of my life. On December 19, 2006, i was driving home from the church on a beautiful sunny afternoon when i was hit Head-On by a drunk driver on Johnson Road. The wreck killed a young man, hurt 3 children, cut off my foot above the ankle, and eventually sent a young man to a 30-year prison sentence. Johnny Sillman was the name of the 21 year old young man who was killed. It was really sad. The 3 children quickly recovered from the accident. One had a broken leg. God blessed me with a miracle when the doctors put my leg back together. I still have a titanium rod in my leg that goes from my knee to my ankle. Along with some other hardware. I was told that if i ever walked again that i would have a severe limp for the rest of my life. Not only did the limp go away after a few years but i also started running. I was doing a 5k everyday for a while. (i need to start running again!) I am a living miracle. I believe this with all my heart. I will never forget this tragic day, but most of all , i will never forget Gods blessings upon my life. My Faith in God received a huge power boost during this period of my life. I am the most blessed man on the planet!!!
