Today is the big day, my dad is moving in with us. They released him from the hospital yesterday and Rick took him home for a last night in his house. There is nothing more that the doctors can do, his heart is worn out, and living alone is not an option. He will have the same hospice nurses that Andy has, so we will have nurses here probably every day. I cleaned out one of our spare bedrooms yesterday, his hospital bed arrives this afternoon along with the cable guy to hook up DISH in his room. His dog has been with us for a week, and has adjusted to life with my 3 dogs and cat. Rick and Mindy have taken care of him completely for the last several months, they have been angels. I have missed being with him, and this will be good for all of us. When Andy gets worse, Dad will go stay at Ricks, if I need him to. My dad gave up his life to raise 4 kids so I think that it is my time to help him. I love him, he is my hero.
