Today is the birthday of Jean Beliveau (pronounced bella-voh), Richard Gere, James Coburn, Debbie Gibson, and Buddy Hackett. Jean is 82 today. He played center for the Montreal Canadiens (1953-1971). He won the Art Ross Trophy (Leading scorer) in 1956. He won the Hart Trophy (MVP) in 1956 & 1964, and the Conn Smythe Trophy (Playoff MVP) in 1965. He helped the Canadiens win 10 Stanley Cups (1956, 1957, 1958, 1959, 1960, 1965, 1966, 1968, 1969, 1971). Jean is a member of the Hockey Hall Of Fame. Richard is 64 today. He starred in the movies "An Officer And A Gentleman" "Pretty Woman" "Arbitage" "American Gigilo" and "Unfaithful." James would be 85 today.
