Today is the day for the Thank You Festival - Tiesto, Above & Beyond, Krewella, Cedric Gervais, Alvin Risk - 6.26.14 - I just wanted to thank everyone again for all their support on this competition / event. Every single person that invited friends, shared the event, posted it to their wall, texted people to join, asked their friends in person, emails, messages, texts, you name it I am extremely grateful and humbled by all the support from my friends. It really meant a lot and I love you all. Although I did not win, it still feels good to finish in the top 3 being a local DJ in the area. A national DJ won which he was marketed to thousands even over a million people saw his event with the help of a record label, so to get that close with only support from my local friends is an accomplishment I am very proud of. AND IT COULDNT OF HAPPENED WITHOUT YOUR SUPPORT! So thank you again bros and broettes. All the congratulations to him and everyone that is going should support the winning DJ and also the other DJs in this great festival event. Electronic music is very much here to stay and I am glad to see how it has grown in the Baltimore area and around these past few years, especially since we have tried to blast the beats in bars, clubs, house parties any venue we can to help spread the music. Everyone stay safe today, have fun and thank you again to the Glow Washington DC team for once again putting together the best events in the area and giving local DJs a chance to break into the scene with numerous competitions. It is companies like this that give everyone hope to follow their dreams.
