Today is the day of the Art Walk! Were hoping to have success and raise lots donations for the Dyess Divas. So far Dianne Haws is bringing scarves and spare tea candles (for the luminarias) from last year, Nancy Starling has made some yummy homemade salsa, Mallory Conlon baked delicious cookies, and Im bringing luminarias that was graciously lent to us from the American Cancer Society. We even have a bucket provided by the ACS in case people just want to be generous and drop a few dollars in. If youre able to come, feel free to make anything that we can sell, whether it be baked goods, crafty items youve made, etc. Theres no obligation to this. Its only if you want to. The Art Walk is from 5-8, so its not a very long event. If you happen to be in the area enjoying the event, stop by and say hi! Well be set up somewhere on Cypress Street. We wont have an exact location until we actually arrive. Its first come first serve, so well see where we wind up. Our table will have the purple Relay for Life table cloth draped over it. Maybe that will make it easier to find us. Anyway, hope to see some of you later! :)
