Today is the death anniversary of Yiannis Negreponte, the songwriter of one of the most characteristic antifascist Resistance poems, made into a heartfelt, beautiful song with the music of Manos Loizos, one of my favourite composers. The song name is The Accordeon and its a BIG source of inspiration for Without Moonlight. Im translating the lyrics below for your pleasure.
